A call from Kelly Winfield to say she'd seen two whales about a mile offshore Sonesta. Half an hour later she saw them at Horseshoe Bay. I got the second call at 14.00 a few minutes later and phoned Annabel to get ready to head out on the boat. Left Devonshire Bay about 3.15 with Annabel and Elsa and headed west and then east. Winds very calm, tide low. Didn't find the whales and Elsa started feeling seasick so we headed back in about 4.30. Tomorrow and Friday look good and we have good crews on both days. Cross fingers.
