Elsa leaves a note beside the fire for Santa Claus. It reads, "Merry Cristmas Santa and a Happy Cristmas eve. From Elsa and Somers, Daddy and Mummy". The carrots and apple are for the reindeer, the milk and biscuits for Santa
For the last week, Elsa has been camped out on the floor of the living room in front of the fire beside the Christmas tree. Tonight she was determined to stay up all night and see Santa come down the chimney
Elsa's bunk is vacated as she stakes out Santa but as you can see, with the best will in the world, she couldn't stay awake. At seven she absolutely believes Santa Clause and dragons are real. And they are.
Somers couldn't stay awake either, but she made a valiant effort, in the company of her favourite stuffed animal, a fish. The house is lit up so Santa can't miss us.
