Roy Small took this amazing photograph of a well-fed humpback whale breaching completely out of the water off Brier Island in the Bay of Fundy. I recognise Jamie raising his hands in the air, in the zodiac belonging to Brier Island Whale and Seabird Cruises

While I coax Somers back onto land, Elsa rescues a dinosaur egg from the beach before Hurricane Orphelia hits us

We have had five days of variable winds, the water temperature and air temperature 80 degrees, perfect conditions for a hurricane, and of course that is what is bearing down on us in 24 hours
