 Our first fluke ID of 2013-- 1001 1 bd 2013 01 09 seen on Challenger Bank Thanks to our Citizen Science network spear-headed by the indefatigable Gale McCullough Brenda Morgan has identified this whale as Umbra, a Gulf of Maine whale ID'd by the Provincetown Centre of Coastal Studies as Umbra. Joanne Jarzobski and Nancy Heins have confirmed this and given us the additional information that this female had calves in 2007 and 2010!
